New Playground Equipment and Splash Pad (see below)

One of our major projects has certainly been the acquiring of a totally renewed playground.  The old wooden structure has dissapeared and kids have been able to enjoy the newer style of euipment common to the area.

 It is obviously a popular spot on 'the hill' by the swimming pool.  Aside from minor 'upkeep' it has been enjoyed by area youngsters as well as by visitors from further away.

Although there is little need for maintenance now we still appreciate those who faithfully come out to clean the area and rake the sand so kids can enjoy a clean environment every year.  Thanks guys and gals!!!

Splash Pad

Just recently (12 06 2010 ) the new splash pad was officially opened and used for the first time.  

The Mitchell Optimists are proud to be one of the sponsors of this great addition to West Perth's recreation opportunities.

This will be a great interactive enjoyment for all who come to enjoy it.
